January 19,20,21: 2005 Sangiovese Release: Our 2005 Sangiovese will be paired with some wonderful Italian dishes. Food and wine pairing from 12:00 to 5:00 pm
February 16, 17, 18: Presidential Port Weekend: This annual event delights your taste buds with decadent desserts paired with the upcoming 2005 Port. This annual pre-release sale offers the 2004 Port at a once-only discount.
March 8-9: 2004 Zinfandel Release: Come celebrate the release of our 2003 Zinfandel with foods & music from its land of origin, Croatia
March 29-30 and April 5-6: Passport Weekends: El Dorado Winery Association's annual Wine Festival- Tickets purchased in advance.
Jodar will be featuring our 2005 Sangiovese with Zachary Jacques house smoked salmon encroute w/ preserved meyer lemon relish. 2003 Zinfandel with BBQ herbed infused Five Dot Ranch Baron of Beef served on grilled polenta, 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon served with Roasted Oyster Mushroom Potage and of course, Jodar Black Bear Port with Bleu de bresse and Chocolate Truffles.
April 26-27: 2005 Port Release: Food and wine pairing 11 :00-5:00 p.m. Two Free port glasses with purchase of any case.
May 10: Mother’s Day: Truffle making demonstration and sampling with 2005 Black Bear Port. Gift boxes available.
May 24-26: Memorial Day: Stock up on summertime wines with great wine specials. Food & wine pairings.
June 21: Annual Wine Club BBQ and Golf Tournament: Enjoy a day of Golf (optional), fresh air, good food, music, friends & GREAT wine. BBQ 5:30-8:30 Wine Club Members only RSVP from 6/1 – 6/17
July 4,5 & 6th: Independence Day Celebration: Enjoy a picnic or BBQ (BBQ available for purchase) on the lawn. Wine specials.
July 26: Music & BBQ on the Green: Enjoy music, food & the beautiful view while enjoying some of our fabulous wines. Bring your Beach chair and/or blanket and enjoy the evening 5:30-8:30 p.m.
August 23: BBQ on the Green: Enjoy music, food & the beautiful view while enjoying some of our fabulous wines. Bring your beach chair and/or blanket and enjoy the evening. 5:30-8:30 p.m.
August 30, 31 & September 1: Enjoy the “fruits” of our Labor: Food and wine pairing 12:00-5:00 p.m.
October 11,12 & 13: Columbus Day: “Discover Jodar Wines” Food and wine pairings 11 :00-5:00 with select wine discounts
October 31, November 1 & 2: Nevada Day: Fun food and wine pairings plus special wine discounts for our friends from Nevada
November 8 & 9: Yearly PostCrush/PreHoliday/Getchurwine Event: Delicious holiday foods paired with Jodar Wines. Take advantage of great wine specials to stock up for holiday meals, parties and gift giving. Wine Club Free / $10.00 to guests 12-6 p.m.
December: (entire month) Free shipping: Free shipping (maximum $25) on purchases of 3 or more bottles.
December 6 - 7: Holiday Open House: Fun holiday food and wine pairings. Gift items and Gift Boxes available. Winemaker available to sign bottles for that special gift. Wine specials.
