Prepare brownies as in "Mitch's Black Bear Brownies"
While cooking prepare Port Cherry Sauce as shown below.
Port Cherry Sauce
1/3 cup dried cherries
2/3 cup Jodar Black Bear Port
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
1/8 teaspoon allspice
In saucepan over medium-low heat combine all ingredients. Stir frequently. Take from heat when cherries have plumped and Port is reduced to syrup thickness. Cool to further thicken. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
Serve Brownies warm with scoop of French Vanilla Ice Cream and Port Cherry Sauce poured all over! Enjoy!
